Cell Renewal (Start) is supplied as a multi-component laboratory research reference set intended exclusively for in-vitro and laboratory research use. Epithalon is the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, a short linear sequence commonly used as a peptide identity and HPLC retention reference. NAD+ is the oxidized form of the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide redox pair, comprising a nicotinamide ring and an adenine base linked through a ribose-pyrophosphate-ribose backbone, and is frequently employed as a cofactor standard in enzymatic and spectrophotometric assay development (with characteristic UV absorbance near 260 nm). Glutathione (gamma-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is a thiol-bearing tripeptide whose free cysteine sulfhydryl makes it a useful reference in redox chemistry, thiol quantitation, and mass spectrometry method work. Together, the three materials in the Cell Renewal (Start) set span peptide, nucleotide-cofactor, and thiol-peptide chemistries within a single reference kit.

All components are of synthetic origin and each is specified at not less than 98% purity by HPLC, with identity and purity documented on a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis available on request.
